Kawamotoya is a stylish apart-hotel in the heart of Nozawa Onsen, combining modern comfort with traditional Japanese touches. The property has seven spacious apartments ranging from studios through to larger two-bedroom apartments and family suites, with great mountain and valley views. It’s also well located, with the Yu-Road around 9 minutes away and the Hikage Gondola about 14 minutes on foot.

There are also a total of 13 public hot spring bath houses in Nozawa Onsen Village, known as “Sotoyu”, which are a common asset of the local villagers and are open to the public if you want to venture out of Kawamotoya. The restaurant features local cuisine such as nozawana pickles, rainbow trout, alps salmon, Shinshu pork, apples and wines.
