Tokiwaya is a historic Japanese ryokan in the heart of Nozawa Onsen, located directly beside the famous Oyu public bath. With a history spanning around 380 years, the ryokan combines traditional Japanese character with modern comforts and is ideally placed for exploring the village on foot.

The property features 17 rooms, including Japanese, Western and Japanese-Western styles, with a number of rooms overlooking Oyu and the surrounding streets. Guests can enjoy two natural hot spring sources, including the large Senjinburo bath, as well as Tokiwaya’s own Yakushi-no-Yu spring. Both are 100% natural-flowing hot springs and available throughout the day.
