Kicking Horse is one of the most challenging resorts in North America. The terrain on offer will certainly appeal to the advanced and expert riders. There are a few runs for beginners and intermediates but this resort is renowned for attracting the adrenaline junkies. The terrain consists of four large bowls that merge lower down the mountain where you’ll find the terrain more suitable for intermediates and beginners. The village is reasonably small with a few accommodation options offering ski-in ski-out convenience. However, there is more accommodation and restaurants to explore in the town of Golden which is approximately a 20min drive away.
