Located in the stunning alps of New Zealand’s South Island, Wanaka is renowned for its outstanding natural beauty and excellent ski resorts. From Wanaka you have access to two ski resorts, Treble Cone (25 mins) and Cardrona (35 mins), as well as amazing heli-skiing terrain. While being a quieter town compared to Queenstown, there is still a great range of restaurants and bars for all tastes and budgets to keep you fed and entertained off the mountain.
