Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort lives up to its name due to the sheer size of the terrain on offer. With over 3,500 acres of terrain to explore, this is one of the largest ski resorts in California. The resort offers a nice mix of terrain, with beginners and intermediates well serviced in particular. The town of Mammoth Lakes offers a wide range of accommodation options, restaurants and bars. Guests can also take advantage of select accommodation in resort offering ski-in ski-out luxury. Mammoth also has one of the longest seasons in the country, usually open from November to June but sometimes even later!
