Kawaichiya Ryokan is a traditional Japanese ryokan in the centre of Nozawa Onsen, offering a good mix of traditional character and modern accommodation. The property has a range of Japanese and Japanese-Western rooms, including renovated rooms with private onsen baths, while its location makes it easy to explore Nozawa’s famous village streets and public bathhouses.

The ryokan has two natural hot spring sources, with separate indoor and outdoor baths, as well as an on-site restaurant serving dishes using local ingredients.
