Sakura

Sakura is a modern three-bedroom villa in the older part of Nozawa Onsen, close to Kumanotearaiyu and within easy reach of the village. Finished in 2023, it has a really nice mix of modern comfort and Japanese touches, with three ensuite bedrooms, a spacious open-plan living and dining area and a well-equipped kitchen. There’s also a loft area, gas fireplace, underfloor heating and a panorama bath in one of the bedrooms. It’s a good option for up to 6 guests looking for a comfortable private house in a quieter part of the village.

We booked through Anna O’Malley for our stay in Nozawa onsen Village in Japan. Seamless service, prompt, and pricing reasonable. The Shimataya View Hotel, was a lovely stay. Room size was large, great views, and Amazing service from Staff. Momoi and Eloisa couldn’t help enough- from dinner reservations to organising luggage to Tokyo. Property is older, though clean, well maintained. 10 min walk to slopes, 5 min walk to village centre. I recommend Mountain Watch, and this property. Photos are the view from our room.
