Corner House

Corner House is a pair of recently renovated, self-contained apartments in the Shin-yu area of Nozawa Onsen, offering a comfortable and practical base close to the heart of the village. The apartments are just a minute from the Shin-yu onsen and around three minutes from Oyu-dori’s shops, restaurants and bars. Each apartment has its own kitchen, with a choice of Western- or Japanese-style interiors, making Corner House a good option for couples or independent travellers looking for more space and flexibility. The Yu-Road travelator is around a 6-minute walk away, providing easy access towards the Hikage Gondola.

We booked through Anna O’Malley for our stay in Nozawa onsen Village in Japan. Seamless service, prompt, and pricing reasonable. The Shimataya View Hotel, was a lovely stay. Room size was large, great views, and Amazing service from Staff. Momoi and Eloisa couldn’t help enough- from dinner reservations to organising luggage to Tokyo. Property is older, though clean, well maintained. 10 min walk to slopes, 5 min walk to village centre. I recommend Mountain Watch, and this property. Photos are the view from our room.
