For a true Japanese experience we recommend a stay at Kiriya, a traditional Japanese Inn known as ‘Ryokan’. This well positioned and very welcoming property has been owned and operated by the same family for five generations.
Each of the traditional style Japanese rooms have a tatami (woven straw) floor, low tables, floor cushions and futon beds. Bathrooms are shared but rooms do have a toilet. Each room contains a fridge, tea making facilities and an LCD TV.
The largest rooms are the triple standards (maximum of 3 guests).
Situated in the oldest part of the village, less than 5 minutes walk to the main street and just a 3 minute walk to the ‘Yu-Road’ moving pathway.
