Kawazen

Kawazen is a modern Japanese villa in a quiet part of Nozawa Onsen, combining traditional Japanese touches with a more modern and spacious layout. The house has four ensuite Western-style bedrooms plus an additional tatami room, making it a great option for larger groups. There’s a large open-plan living and dining area, fully equipped kitchen and plenty of space to relax after a day on the slopes. Furusato no Yu is just a few minutes away, with the main Oyu Street around five minutes on foot and the Yu-Road travelator about five minutes away, giving easy access to the ski area.

We booked through Anna O’Malley for our stay in Nozawa onsen Village in Japan. Seamless service, prompt, and pricing reasonable. The Shimataya View Hotel, was a lovely stay. Room size was large, great views, and Amazing service from Staff. Momoi and Eloisa couldn’t help enough- from dinner reservations to organising luggage to Tokyo. Property is older, though clean, well maintained. 10 min walk to slopes, 5 min walk to village centre. I recommend Mountain Watch, and this property. Photos are the view from our room.
