North Point is an older-style lodge in Lower Hirafu, with a more traditional Niseko feel than some of the newer properties. It has 8 rooms sleeping up to 16 guests, with a mix of twin and double rooms and shared bathroom facilities. There’s a large open-plan dining and lounge area plus a separate TV room, giving guests plenty of space to relax after skiing. The lodge also has ski storage, laundry facilities and Wi-Fi, with the village shuttle stop only a couple of minutes away and the Grand Hirafu lifts around a 10-minute walk.

We booked through Anna O’Malley for our stay in Nozawa onsen Village in Japan. Seamless service, prompt, and pricing reasonable. The Shimataya View Hotel, was a lovely stay. Room size was large, great views, and Amazing service from Staff. Momoi and Eloisa couldn’t help enough- from dinner reservations to organising luggage to Tokyo. Property is older, though clean, well maintained. 10 min walk to slopes, 5 min walk to village centre. I recommend Mountain Watch, and this property. Photos are the view from our room.
