Perfectly positioned at the base of Happo One, the Marillen Hotel is one of the only genuine ski-in/ski-out properties in the area – ski straight to the first lifts in the morning and ski right back to your door from the piste at the end of the day.

Just a short walk to the heart of Happo Village, you’ll have easy access to local restaurants, bars, shops, onsens, and shuttles/buses to Hakuba’s other 9 ski resorts.

Choose from three room types with options to suit couples, families or friends. Every room features warm, cosy interiors, Austrian-style wooden furnishings, and plush beds for a relaxing alpine retreat.

After a day on the mountain, unwind at the on-site Bernd’s Keller Restaurant & Bar, serving hearty German cuisine and hosting live après-ski entertainment with panoramic Nakiyama slope views!

We booked through Anna O’Malley for our stay in Nozawa onsen Village in Japan. Seamless service, prompt, and pricing reasonable. The Shimataya View Hotel, was a lovely stay. Room size was large, great views, and Amazing service from Staff. Momoi and Eloisa couldn’t help enough- from dinner reservations to organising luggage to Tokyo. Property is older, though clean, well maintained. 10 min walk to slopes, 5 min walk to village centre. I recommend Mountain Watch, and this property. Photos are the view from our room.
