The La Neige Higashikan is a luxury boutique hotel is located in the beautiful quiet village Wadano of Hakuba. It features western-style guest rooms and separate log cabins which are popular with families. Happo-One ski resort is a short 5 minute walk away and a shuttle bus service is also available to the other local ski resorts.

La Neige Higashikan features beautiful architecture and lots of bright windows. The lobby has a warm fireplace and couches that encourage conversation. Quiet, comfortable and contemporary, the rooms combine lush, warm and modern accents with large open style bathrooms. WiFi internet is available throughout the hotel. Every guest room in the hotel are individually decorated so that no two rooms are the same.

We booked through Anna O’Malley for our stay in Nozawa onsen Village in Japan. Seamless service, prompt, and pricing reasonable. The Shimataya View Hotel, was a lovely stay. Room size was large, great views, and Amazing service from Staff. Momoi and Eloisa couldn’t help enough- from dinner reservations to organising luggage to Tokyo. Property is older, though clean, well maintained. 10 min walk to slopes, 5 min walk to village centre. I recommend Mountain Watch, and this property. Photos are the view from our room.
