Mount Yakebitai Stats

The Prince Hotel is more than just a singular hotel, it is comprised of 3x separate buildings (West, South, and East) which all differ to ensure there is something to suit every traveller. The common theme with the 3x buildings is they all offer ski in/out convenience at the base of Mt Yakebitai, fantastic Japanese hospitality, plus clean and comfortable lodging.

The three wings are freestanding buildings with approximately 1km in between each, so a shuttle bus runs at regular intervals throughout the day and early evening to provide transport between the wings. The Prince Hotel also offers an evening shuttle service to and from Ichinose village. It is also super easy to take a gondola or chair lift up the mountain and ski down to the respective buildings during the day so you can try somewhere different for lunch each day.

Staying at any of the Wings will see guests enjoy a fantastic daily buffet breakfast with a plethora of tasty options available. There is a huge variety offering both Japanese and Western cuisine.

Buffet Breakfast in the West Wing

Across all 3x buildings you have a wide range of eatery options. There’s a combined 9 restaurants to explore offering a healthy variety of cuisine. Each building has their own main Dining Room where you’ll enjoy your buffet breakfasts, and is also in use for lunches and dinners. Arguably the most popular restaurant is Shishi Chinese Restaurant, just outside of the West Wing.

Which building/wing to stay in comes down to your preferences and budget.
