Park City

Park City offers an impressive 348 trails over 7,300 acres of terrain. The resort boasts just over 9 meters on average annually of the dry, fluffy snow Utah resorts are renowned for.

Intermediates and above will fall in love with the terrain (Beginner; 8%, Intermediate; 41%, Advanced/Expert; 51%). Percentage wise there's not a huge amount of suitable terrain for beginners, but taking into account there's over 7,300 acres of terrain there is more areas for beginners than a lot of other resorts.

The resort is well serviced with a sophisticated network of lifts, 41 in total, and with a decent number being high speed.

For those keen to test themselves in the terrain parks, Park City will certainly quench your thirst. Park City is home to arguably one of the best progressive set ups in North America. Little Kings and Pinedraw are great for beginners, emerging intermediates are best to hit Pick Axe or Transitions, and for those advanced/experts you can shred 3 Kings.

Park City also offers some great digital resources such as 'Emma' and the 'EpicMix App' which offer information such as weather conditions, lift wait times, trail maps, and more.

Deer Valley

Deer Valley is a skiers only resort, unfortunately snowboarding is prohibited.

Offering over 2,000 acres of skiable terrain across six mountains, there's a healthy variety of terrain for all ski abilities (27% beginner, 31% intermediate, 42% advanced/expert). The resort receives an average of 7.6 metres of snowfall annually.

The resort offers 103 runs serviced by a well thought out network of 21 lifts.

For those looking to hit the terrain park, you're best to head to the neighbours, Park City Ski Resort to get your fix.
