Appi Kogen, located in Northern Honshu is a perfect resort for families, with exceptional customer service, well groomed trails, dedicated children’s ski areas, a snow park, child care and ski school options. While Appi is perfect for families, there is also plenty for advanced riders too, with dedicated ungroomed runs, a terrain park, and runs as long as 5.5km. From Tokyo you can easily access Appi via bullet train (2 hours) to Morioka Station and then catch the bus directly to Appi resort (40 minutes).
