This easy 3km trail is a great introduction for first time snowshoeing. Trek through the picturesque Kootenay National Park to visit historical Paint Pots. On this guided tour you will travel across the frozen Vermilion River and through a forest of pine trees before coming to Paint Pots.
Johnston Canyon Ice Walk

In the winter time, Johnston Canyon is home to Banff’s most stunning frozen waterfalls. Your local guide will lead you along steel catwalks built into the canyon walls where you’ll make your way to the iconic frozen upper falls.
Snowmobile Tour

Enjoy the adrenaline rush of a Snowmobile tour through the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Your guide will take your through picturesque winding alpine trails whilst you drift through the famous Canadian Powder! Participants have the option of riding in tandem or as solo riders.
Hockey Game

With Calgary just a 2hour drive away, a visit to the iconic Saddledome to watch the Calgary Flames play is an easy option from Banff. There are regular games on during the season.
Banff Upper Hot Springs

A visit to the Banff Upper Hot Springs located on Sulphur Mountain is highly recommended so remember to pack your bathers. After a day on the slopes there is nothing better than to relax in the hot mineral water and enjoy the stunning scenery around you. A short 10 minutes drive or take the ROAM bus Route 1. There’s a gift shop, indoor/outdoor cafe, change rooms, lockers and rental towels.

We booked through Anna O’Malley for our stay in Nozawa onsen Village in Japan. Seamless service, prompt, and pricing reasonable. The Shimataya View Hotel, was a lovely stay. Room size was large, great views, and Amazing service from Staff. Momoi and Eloisa couldn’t help enough- from dinner reservations to organising luggage to Tokyo. Property is older, though clean, well maintained. 10 min walk to slopes, 5 min walk to village centre. I recommend Mountain Watch, and this property. Photos are the view from our room.
