The Rundlestone Lodge is a comfortable mountain-style hotel on Banff Avenue, around a 15-minute walk from the centre of town. It’s a good option for a winter ski trip, with a range of rooms, loft suites and larger two-bedroom options for groups. After a day on the slopes, guests can relax in the indoor pool and hot tub, while the complimentary ski lockers and heated underground parking are handy during winter. Some of the larger suites also have kitchenettes, fireplaces and mountain views, giving them a more homely feel for longer stays.

We booked through Anna O’Malley for our stay in Nozawa onsen Village in Japan. Seamless service, prompt, and pricing reasonable. The Shimataya View Hotel, was a lovely stay. Room size was large, great views, and Amazing service from Staff. Momoi and Eloisa couldn’t help enough- from dinner reservations to organising luggage to Tokyo. Property is older, though clean, well maintained. 10 min walk to slopes, 5 min walk to village centre. I recommend Mountain Watch, and this property. Photos are the view from our room.
