“Love – A Big Mountain Ski Film”. And A Film That Will Put Revelstoke On Your Bucket List

This beautiful film by Kelowna, BC based filmaker Henry Banfield, a.k.a Hondro, was shot in Revelstoke across the 2019/20 winter season that was cut short due to Coronavirus.

Prior to the season ending early in mid-March due to the coronavirus, Revelstoke was having a good winter with consistent snowfalls from early December dropping over nine metres of snowand turning on some excellent powder days.

This edit from Kelowna, BC based filmmaker Henry Banfield, who works under the name of Hondro, was shot in Revelstoke over the 2019/20 winter and features Banfield’s mates as they ski Revvy at its best, enjoying a great mix of powder, pillow lines and backcountry kickers. It captures the fun of a good winter and skiing with your friends and after watching you’ll be psyched to get out there for a few turns as soon as you can.

We booked through Anna O’Malley for our stay in Nozawa onsen Village in Japan. Seamless service, prompt, and pricing reasonable. The Shimataya View Hotel, was a lovely stay. Room size was large, great views, and Amazing service from Staff. Momoi and Eloisa couldn’t help enough- from dinner reservations to organising luggage to Tokyo. Property is older, though clean, well maintained. 10 min walk to slopes, 5 min walk to village centre. I recommend Mountain Watch, and this property. Photos are the view from our room.
