Brinkley Resort is a High Country self contained apartment style resort and conference centre situated in the Alpine heartland village of Methven at the foothills of majestic Mt Hutt. Brinkley Resort is recognised as one of New Zealand’s most popular family winter holiday destinations

They are a two minute walk to the centre of town and the resort is conveniently positioned on the transport route for all mountain bound tour operators.

The resort features a total of 80 self contained apartments comprised of 40 studios and 40 quality two bedroom apartments. They have full laundry facilities shared between each apartment and studio room with the two bedroom apartments all containing spa baths, ideal for relaxing after a day on the mountain. Three bedroom apartments are available which are an interconnecting studio room and two bedroom apartment.

We booked through Anna O’Malley for our stay in Nozawa onsen Village in Japan. Seamless service, prompt, and pricing reasonable. The Shimataya View Hotel, was a lovely stay. Room size was large, great views, and Amazing service from Staff. Momoi and Eloisa couldn’t help enough- from dinner reservations to organising luggage to Tokyo. Property is older, though clean, well maintained. 10 min walk to slopes, 5 min walk to village centre. I recommend Mountain Watch, and this property. Photos are the view from our room.
