Oku Cabins are your home away from home in Japan’s infamous ‘Powder Belt’. Choose from four fully self-contained log cabins on the fringe of the forest and only a short 10 minute walk to the Madarao Mountain Resort ski lifts. All our cabins are complete with a private kitchen, lounge and dining area, bathroom with shower and bath, wifi, and HD smart TV. All bedrooms are available in a double or twin configuration, and we offer free parking on site for one car per cabin. Oku Cabins are perfect for couples, families or small groups of friends looking for a little extra space, privacy and comfort on their Japan snow holiday.

We booked through Anna O’Malley for our stay in Nozawa onsen Village in Japan. Seamless service, prompt, and pricing reasonable. The Shimataya View Hotel, was a lovely stay. Room size was large, great views, and Amazing service from Staff. Momoi and Eloisa couldn’t help enough- from dinner reservations to organising luggage to Tokyo. Property is older, though clean, well maintained. 10 min walk to slopes, 5 min walk to village centre. I recommend Mountain Watch, and this property. Photos are the view from our room.
