Wanaka is the gateway to the Southern Alps, Mount Aspiring National Park and a great base location for groups wishing to access the ski resorts of Treble Cone and Cardrona. In your free time you can explore the town and enjoy the stylish shops, galleries and cafes.
Wanaka is the ideal location for school groups looking for an area a little more quiet, whilst enjoying the stunning surrounding mountain landscape.
Cardrona Ski Resort is the perfect place for beginners and intermediates, whilst Treble Cone is a little more advanced. Cardrona is an easy 40min drive from Wanaka, and Treble Cone is approximately 30min away.
SAMPLE INTINERARY
Home to Wanaka via Queenstown
Make your way to the airport and board your flight bound for Queenstown, NZ. Upon arrival, meet your coach to transfer you to your accommodation in Wanaka.

Board your coach to transfer you to Cardrona or Treble Cone. Make your way to the rental shop on mountain and get fitted out with your skis/snowboard sets. After getting fitted out with your rentals, meet your instructors for your first morning group lessons, split according to skill levels. Lift passes included. Enjoy the afternoon exploring the slopes with your teachers. At the end of the day board your coach to take you back to your accommodation.

Free morning at teachers discretion. Take the coach to Skyline Queenstown. Ride the gondola to the top and enjoy 3 rides on the Skyline Luge. Dinner included at the Skyline Restaurant with stunning views. Take the gondola down and board your coach to return to your accommodation.
