Hakuba 47 + Goryu are two of the most popular ski resorts in the Hakuba Valley and are just a short 5-10 minute drive from the main Happo village. 47 and Goryu are interconnected and accessed off the same lift pass which means there is a huge variety of terrain to explore in one day. Burton Qualiifers – Hakuba Goryu – January 26th 2019
Calling all up-and-coming riders! The Burton Qualifiers is the premiere amateur snowboard contest series offering local riders of all ability levels and ages the chance to come together for a fun day of riding, cash prizes and the opportunity to go all the way to the finals! Now in its fourth season, the FREE Burton Qualifiers series continues to grow with the addition of two new international stops and a huge increase in the already record prize purse with $30,000 USD in cash on the line. Come ready to impress what will surely be an all-star panel of judges.

Registration – 10:00am – 11:00am
Open Practice – 11:00am – 12:00pm
15 & Under Division – 12:30pm – 1:30pm
Open Division – 2:00pm – 3:00pm
Awards – 4:00pm – 4:30pm
Red Bull Edge – Hakuba Goryu – February 22nd – 23rd
Red Bull Edge brings carving into the new age! A special carving event for everyone who likes to push the limits of snowboarding and who enjoys a weekend full of fun premieres. A course consisting of limbo gates, banked turns and tight carving turns welcomes hard- and softboot riders to put their boards on the edge.
Snowboard world champion and Red Bull Edge mastermind Siegfried “Sigi” Grabner designs a course, which gives you the chance to push the limits of your own riding. This time Red Bull Edge continues in Japan, February 2019 again. Stay tuned!
New Goryu Terrain Park
From the end of January 2019 Hakuba Goryu will be opening a brand new terrain park! It will also be open for night riding so you can hit the park all day long!
New Tree Riding Area
Hakuba47 are expanding their tree skiing area for the 2018/19 season! The new area (indicated in purple with red border) is the Open Tree Zone where everyone can ski and ride. You do not need to be a member of TRZ (Tree Riding Zone) to enter this area. To enter the Tree Riding Zones you must register beforehand.. You can find out more about the Tree Riding Zone here.
Shuttle Bus Tracker
Hakuba 47’s Shuttle Bus Tracker has been improved for the 2018/19 season. From the warmth of the indoors you can now see exactly where the buses are and when they are approaching your stop on the map. Find out more about the routes and timetable here.
