Japan Snow Update 25th Jan
The Japanese ski season is picking up with plenty of snow across resorts particularly in two of the most popular regions Hakuba and Niseko. Over 7.5 metres of snow has fallen in Niseko and Hakuba is also seeing plenty of snow with nearly 4 metres fallen this season. This is certainly one of the best seasons in recent years and should continue for the remaining months.
Honshu has been hit with a large snowstorm which even resulted in snow in Tokyo. This has brought plenty of powder into the Hakuba Valley which was much needed after a quiet week last week. High winds have meant not all lifts have been operating but winds should ease over the next few days so everyone can get up and enjoy the powder.
