Never far from its ranching roots, Steamboat remains firmly linked to a Western tradition that sets it apart from every other ski resort in the world. Steamboat offers an abundance of winter activities and services to create a unique Colorado ski vacation experience for everyone. There’s plenty to do off the ski slopes. From mountain dining, to spa services and concerts, Steamboat resort activities provide a lifetime of memories!

Insider Ski and Snowboard Tips

Steamboat enjoys a certain degree of isolation, it’s a little too far from Denver to attract the day trippers the way the other resorts along the 1-70 do and it’s this little extra distance that keeps the lift queues down. Riding straight on to the lifts is commonplace in Steamboat and when it’s dumping hard fresh tracks are available every run through the Aspen trees.
