Myoko has a range of different bars and restaurants to keep you entertained, fed and quenched when you’re not shredding the slopes. Here are our top picks to check out when you’re in Myoko.

Jacks Bar Myoko

You’re thirsty. Jacks Bar Myoko can help! The crew here serve delicious bar snacks, meals and boasts an extensive drinks menu. It is the best bar for après drinks! Their resident DJ plays every night from 9pm, and they host legendary trivia and karaoke nights which are not to be missed- the staff will make you feel like part of the crew in no time!

Skate Bar

Skate Bar stays open until late, and it’s reminiscent of the olden-days of Myoko Kogen with its super smoky atmosphere. Skate bar is home to Myoko’s first indoor mini skate ramp and hosts events throughout the season!

Kotobuki

No trip to Japan is complete without heading to a karaoke bar and singing your heart out (and let your friends laugh at you!) over a few beers. Kotobuki is just off the main street; a bar where you can partake in karaoke without having to sit in a little box room!

We booked through Anna O’Malley for our stay in Nozawa onsen Village in Japan. Seamless service, prompt, and pricing reasonable. The Shimataya View Hotel, was a lovely stay. Room size was large, great views, and Amazing service from Staff. Momoi and Eloisa couldn’t help enough- from dinner reservations to organising luggage to Tokyo. Property is older, though clean, well maintained. 10 min walk to slopes, 5 min walk to village centre. I recommend Mountain Watch, and this property. Photos are the view from our room.
