Goshono Jomon Museum

A great sightseeing spot to visit in Ichinohe Town is Goshono Jomon Museum. Designated as a World Heritage Site in July 2017, this museum has become a widely popular tourist site. Located in Goshono Jomon Park, the museum will take you on a journey through different periods in time with excavated artifacts, visual displays and an accessory making workshop.
Iwate Children's Centre

Located one kilometre away from the resort is Iwate Children’s Centre (Iwate Kodomo no Mori), a popular facility for families with small children. With outdoor and indoor playgrounds, an adventure tower, arts and crafts area and various workshops to take part in on weekends, the kids will have hours of endless fun.
Restaurants & Après

Okunakayama resort boasts two restaurants – Cassiopeia (in the main building, Kiraboshi-no-yu) and a dining hall located on the second floor of Asake-no-yu (annexed to the main building). Here you’ll find delicious and casual meals that people of all ages will enjoy.
