Friendly, helpful staff and excellent location are some of the reasons we recommend a stay at Shirakaba which is a family run Ryokan (Japanese Inn).

Rooms here are warm, clean, spacious and comfortable sleeping up to 5 guests in traditional Japanese style tatami mat floor and futon beds and some rooms contain western style beds. Several rooms have recently been renovated and some are apartment style containing a kitchenette.

The Shirakaba is located a short walk from the moving walkway ‘Yu-Road’ and is centrally located close to dining, nightlife, a convenience store, bus station and Nozawa’s famous public Onsens.
