Are you a ski or snowboard enthusiast and love to travel? Do you want to work in video production? Are you experienced in video shooting, but want to gain even more experience? Do you have a creative eye and a strong sense of story telling? Are you proficient in using Final Cut Pro/Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects? Are you hungry to grow your portfolio? Would you stand outside while it’s snowing with a camera, waiting for the perfect pow shot? If you’re up for this challenge then keep reading.
Liquid Snow Tours, Australia’s biggest inbound ski travel agent to Hakuba, is looking for a Ski-Intern. The competition invites one passionate film maker to spend 3 weeks staying on the snow in Hakuba, Japan producing video content and taking photos.
Forget about doing coffee runs, as a Ski-intern of Liquid Snow Tours you will take on real projects with real responsibilities and deadlines, while you work on making a great portfolio and real references. Can we apply as a team? No, flights will only be provided for one person.
Do I need to bring my own film equipment? Yes, but Liquid will provide the travel insurance.
Am I old enough to apply? You must be at least 18 years of age. We won’t be there to babysit you on the trip. So you must be responsible, pro-active, organised and self-motivated. This internship would suit a university student or recent graduate who has studied or is currently studying journalism/video production.
How long does the internship last? The right intern will spend 3 weeks in Hakuba, Japan filming (these travel dates are flexible). Editing will be completed back in Australia.
Do I have to buy my own flights? No, Accommodation, flights, transfers and ski lift passes will be provided for the right candidate. Breakfast will be provided each morning too.
Do I need to be an Australian Citizen? Yes for insurance purposes.
