Hakuba village – First snow of the season!

It’s a very exciting point in your life when the resort you have booked a holiday to gets its first snowfall. Is it going to have a good early season? Is this going to be ‘a season to remember’? How’s it looking when I am going? All valid questions running through your head, and usually enough to get you to crack out the gear and wear it around the lounge room. For those of you who have been to Hakuba in winter, here is a rather different-looking Happo One, with the white peaks of the Japanese Alps imposing in the background.
